Varstrom Delivery Time
Once we receive order, we will process the ordered and send the products to the customer from the nearest warehouse in 24 hours. Depending on the distance of the region from the shipping warehouse, the express time may take 6 to 8 days. The following table shows 95% of our order delivery schedule for reference.

Shipping Tracking
Once the product is shipped from the warehouse, the system will automatically send a tracking number to customer, you can use it to check where is the package. If customers cannot find their tracking number, please find us through the contact information and we will help you find where the products are.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Our motor kits and batteries require signature confirmation for delivery. If delivery is refused, shipping costs are non-refundable and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted (this will be withheld from any refund).
For returning an item, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs and original shipping costs are non-refundable. For returns of products over $50, we recommend that you use shipping service can be tracked or purchase shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
We can only guarantee delivery of purchases when there are no changes or modifications during shipment. Any purchases made from our company in which a customer decides on their own accord to make any modifications directly with the shipping company (FedEx or USPS) during shipment (including but not limited to; delivery address changes, hold and or pick up requests), our company is no longer able to guarantee delivery and is not responsible for lost packages. We can only guarantee delivery of orders purchased through our company and shipped to the address which was originally provided at purchase. If any modifications are made by the customer on their own accord during the shipment process we are no longer responsible for any delivery delays or lost packages.

VARSTROM VSM01 Torque Mid Motor
VARSTROM launched a new mid-drive motor kit in 2026, featuring a motor with a torque sensor. Currently, it comes with a fixed gauge, and you only need to purchase a suitable battery or use your own to complete the conversion of your bicycle. VSM01 offers 750W rated power, and 130N.m max torque. The top speed for the bike converted by VSM01 will be above 40km/h
Feels More Like You Are Riding
The VSM01 features a built-in high-precision torque sensor. Compared to traditional cadence sensors, the torque sensor accurately reflects the rider's pedaling sensation, ensuring the motor only operates when you are actually pedaling. Compared to cadence sensor systems, torque sensor systems can increase the single mileage by 20%.
Support 36V or 48V Battery
The system will support 36V (550W) or 48V (750W) battery (rated power will decrease by 25%). This feature reduces the purchase cost for customers who have their own 36V batteries.
No Error 08 Anymore
There are hall sensors in mid motor, and if one of the hall sensors damage, the system will be stopped by the error08. However, VSM01 will automatically adjust to allow the motor to work normally if one hall sensor fails. If multiple hall sensors fail, the system will switch to hall-less mode (in which case the system will vibrate at the beginning). However, when the speed increases to 15km/h, the system can still work normally. Customers can ride the bicycle home and have it repaired.
Brake System Options
Varstrom offers 2 brake system power - off options for customers. If you're using a hydraulic brake system, Varstrom recommends you choose Hydraulic Brake Sensors. If you have a mechanical brake system, Varstrom suggests you choose Brake Levers
DZ41 Display
DZ41 is the only display option for recent time. All function of the system and setting are from this display, such as walking mode, 5 PAS speed levels, speed mode, etc. and other setting such as battery voltage setting wheel size setting, etc.

VSM01 Wiring Diagram
The motor provides all the accessories needed for installation. For safety riding, VARSTROM offers front light and rear light for extra options. If you need them, you can buy them together.
Product Packaging
Varstrom VSM01 Mid Drive Motor, VD41 Display, 1T4 Cable, Speed Sensor Set, Thumb Throttle, Chainring Set (installed on the motor), Sashers, and Screws. Brake options (Hydraulic Brake Sensors or Brake Levers) are mandatory accessories and they are free. Battery Options are non - mandatory. If you have a battery of the same voltage (36V or 48V), you can completely use your own battery.

90% of Varstrom's products are shipped from local warehouses and can be delivered within 3 to 8 working days.
